Despite the recent less than stellar reviews, I ate here recently with a couple friends for lunch on a weekday. I viewed the online menu beforehand so I knew what I wanted to order, I knew I'd be charged for onions, and I knew an 18% "service charge" would be added to the bill. That being said, we were seated quickly and provided menus and asked if we'd like drinks. The drinks were reasonably priced and tasted great. Conjito's has always done basic margaritas great. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I tried the stewed chopped beef tacos for the first time and I am hooked on them. The only hiccup came when our waitress forgot a couple to-go items I ordered and paid for. She had the items prepared and packaged very quickly. I can't speak for late afternoon or evening service but going shortly after lunch was probably a good idea.
Food was good and cheap. No refills on tea. Glasses are small. Service was good. Food came fast Margaritas....not so good.
Affordable, delicious, and amazing food. This place has been around for decades, and yet their prices have remained low for the amount of food you get! Tacos are yummy, and servers are wonderful.
Little local Mexican restaurant with a small menu but everything on it is delicious! My favorite is the bean tostadas. They always come out crispy. Their food is served on paper plates and everything is pretty cheap. Nothing on the menu is over $11, can't complain about the prices! They do charge for water bottles but it's cheap.
